Where will you work? The research will be performed at an EU financed, newly established Laboratory for Advanced Materials (LAM), located in the recently constructed CU Science Park (https://cusp.uniba.sk), under the direction of Dr. Milan Sykora (ERA Chair). As LAM research staff you will become a member of a multi-disciplinary research team of chemists, physicists and material scientists. You will have opportunity to apply and develop modern experimental methods for preparation and characterization of advanced materials and nanomaterials. You will have opportunity to collaborate with other research teams from Comenius University, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Slovak Technical University, as well as our collaborators from other countries of EU and USA.

Compensation. Attractive salary at the EU level, depending on experience and performance. Exceptional candidates will receive support for submission of prestigious Marie-Curie Fellowship (https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/actions/postdoctoral-fellowships)

If you are interested in either of the positions, please contact Dr. Milan Sýkora via e-mail (sykoram@uniba.sk) as soon as possible. In the e-mail please state what area you are interested in and why would you like to work at LAM (in the context of your prior position/experience and your future plans), and attach a CV (three-page max.). Recommendation letter from your mentor(s) is a plus.
